BAG MAKING HARDWARE - BAG FASTENINGS

DESCRIPTION: Silver bag lock with flip mechanism.

USE: A bag flip lock provides a convenient and secure way to open and close the bag with ease while ensuring the contents remain safely inside.
Its function is simple: there is a part connected to the bag's body that you can flip up and down. To lock it, insert this part into the latch on the bag's flap and push it down. To unlock, lift the lock up and disengage it from the flap.

INSTALLATION: To install the top part, slide it into the flap and secure it with the provided screws.
To install the bottom part, create two slits in the bag's front panel and insert the prongs. Place the corresponding washer over the prongs on the backside of the material and fold the prongs for a secure closure.

Each set includes the top and bottom parts, two small screws and a washer.

* BAG MAKING HARDWARE COLOUR MATCHING

Matching the colour of bag making hardware can be challenging due to variations in materials and plating techniques used by different manufacturers.

While our silver platings are fairly consistent, gold finishes are the most difficult to match.

To assist you, we have assigned different numbers to each gold variation (e.g., Gold 1, Gold 2, etc.) in the product descriptions, helping you determine if the hardware you are purchasing has the same finish.

If you have any doubts, please don't hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to assist you.

WHAT IS OUR BAG MAKING HARDWARE MADE OF?

Our stock hardware is primarily made of zamac (also known as zamak), a zinc alloy composed of zinc, aluminum, magnesium, and copper.

Zamac is an ideal material for fashion accessories due to its affordability and ease of processing, as it becomes fluid at a low temperature.

This material is typically cast into two moulds, which is sometimes visible as a thin seam down the middle of items.

NEED A DIFFERENT SIZE OR COLOUR?

If you like one of our products but need a different size or colour, we may be able to assist.

In some cases, a minimum order quantity (MOQ) will be required, which varies depending on the product and manufacturer.

We recommend reaching out to us to discuss your specific needs and explore the options available.
