PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Easy-to-install lightweight eyelets with screws.
Suitable for use in leather up to 2mm thick.
USE: Eyelets or grommets are versatile components commonly used in leatherwork and bag making for both functional and aesthetic purposes. They strengthen the holes through which cords, straps, laces, or other fasteners are threaded, while also adding a decorative and professional touch to the project.
INSTALLATION: Separate the front and back pieces of the grommet by undoing the screws. Mark a hole in the leather the same size and shape as the grommet's inner opening, and mark two lateral holes corresponding to the screw holes. Cut out the inner oval and punch the screw holes.
Place the back of the grommet on the back of the material, add the screws, and give a few turns to secure them partially.
On the front of the material, align the other piece of the grommet with the screw holes and tighten them fully.
Sold in packs of 2 sets.
Each set includes a front and a back piece and 4 screws.

Our stock hardware is primarily made of zamac (also known as zamak), a zinc alloy composed of zinc, aluminum, magnesium, and copper.
Zamac is an ideal material for fashion accessories due to its affordability and ease of processing, as it becomes fluid at a low temperature.
This material is typically cast into two moulds, which is sometimes visible as a thin seam down the middle of items.
