USE: Magnetic snaps, also known as magnetic clasps or magnetic buttons, are a popular fastening for bags and accessories.
The female part is designed to be positioned on the flap of a bag, with the male component to be attached to the bag's body.
INSTALLATION: To apply them, first, create two slits in the material where the prongs will be inserted (for added strength, consider adding a small piece of leather or interfacing behind the snap components). Next, place the corresponding washer over the prongs on the backside of the material and fold the prongs for a secure closure.
The female part is to be placed on the bag's body, while the male part is to be placed on the bag's flap.
Each set includes a male and female part and two washers for complete assembly.

Our stock hardware is primarily made of zamac (also known as zamak), a zinc alloy composed of zinc, aluminum, magnesium, and copper.
Zamac is an ideal material for fashion accessories due to its affordability and ease of processing, as it becomes fluid at a low temperature.
This material is typically cast into two moulds, which is sometimes visible as a thin seam down the middle of items.
