Matching the colour of bag making hardware can be challenging due to variations in materials and plating techniques used by different manufacturers.

While our silver platings are fairly consistent, gold finishes are the most difficult to match.

To assist you, we have assigned different numbers to each gold variation (e.g., Gold 1, Gold 2, etc.) in the product descriptions, helping you determine if the hardware you are purchasing has the same finish.

Please note: We do our best to keep these colour assignments updated. However, when new stock arrives, it may take us some time to check the finishes and update the website accordingly. Because of this, there may be occasions when the listed information is not fully up to date. Our stock hardware is primarily made of zamac (also known as zamak), a zinc alloy composed of zinc, aluminum, magnesium, and copper.

Zamac is an ideal material for fashion accessories due to its affordability and ease of processing, as it becomes fluid at a low temperature.

This material is typically cast into two moulds, which is sometimes visible as a thin seam down the middle of items.

If you like one of our products but need a different size or colour, we may be able to assist.

In some cases, a minimum order quantity (MOQ) will be required, which varies depending on the product and manufacturer.
