USE: The french skiver is used to reduce the thickness of specific sections of leather.

DESCRIPTION: Made from Japanese carbon steel, with rust resistant treatment and tempered blade.
Comes with sharpening accessories (see pictures in gallery).

BLADE SIZE: 7.0mm or 8.0mm

HOW TO SHARPEN: This tool is easily sharpened by rubbing the green compound onto the sandpaper and rubbing the underside of the blade along the sandpaper away from you, repeating many times (see picture in gallery).
