DESCRIPTION: Fusible EVA-based film supported on paper.
USE: New Velo is used for bonding non-adhesive reinforcements to genuine and synthetic leathers and fabrics, as well as for bonding two layers of these materials together. Additionally, it acts as a reinforcement itself, providing body to the materials to which it is applied.
It is ideal for both industrial and small-scale production and can be used with a regular domestic iron or a heat press machine.
The convenience of New Velo lies in its ease of handling; it can be cut to the exact area you need to glue without waste and without the mess that liquid or spray glue can create.
HOW TO APPLY: To apply New Velo, start by placing it with the side with backing paper on top of the material you want to bond. Apply heat using an iron or a hot press machine.
Once the adhesive film is activated, remove the backing paper, turn it, place it on the material to be bonded and repeat the procedure.
The adhesive film is activated by heat at a temperature between 70°C and 110°C, depending on the material to be bonded and the working conditions.

Please note that this material is always cut by the metre. For example, if you order 3 metres, you will receive 3 separate 1-metre pieces, not one continuous 3-metre length.

Interlining can be applied in various ways depending on the type.
Unlike fabrics, where some types of interfacings can be sewn directly onto the fabric, regular interlining for leather goods requires glue or adhesive spray for application.
Thermo adhesive interfacing, also known as fusible interfacing, is activated by heat and pressure, typically applied using an iron or a press machine.
This method bonds the interfacing to the material, providing a strong and permanent hold.
Self-adhesive interfacing, on the other hand, has an adhesive backing that sticks to the material when pressure is applied, eliminating the need for additional glue or heat.
