BAG MAKING HARDWARE - BAG FASTENINGS
DESCRIPTION: Rectangular bag turn lock featuring a twist mechanism for a secure and reliable closure.
USE: The rectangular frame is positioned on the bag flap, while the small turn lock is attached to the body of the bag.
INSTALLATION: For the top component - cut a rectangular hole matching the size and shape of the frame opening. Punch holes for the screws. Position the front side of the frame on the top of the flap and the bottom part on the bottom of the flap (like a sandwich) and secure them with screws.
For the bottom component - Cut slits for the prongs of the turn lock. Insert the prongs through the slits. Place the washer over the prongs and bend them outward to secure the lock in place.
Each set includes: Front and back frame, bottom turn component, a washer and two small screw.
It is suitable for leather up to 3 mm thick.

While our silver platings are fairly consistent, gold finishes are the most difficult to match.
To assist you, we have assigned different numbers to each gold variation (e.g., Gold 1, Gold 2, etc.) in the product descriptions, helping you determine if the hardware you are purchasing has the same finish.

Our stock hardware is primarily made of zamac (also known as zamak), a zinc alloy composed of zinc, aluminum, magnesium, and copper.
Zamac is an ideal material for fashion accessories due to its affordability and ease of processing, as it becomes fluid at a low temperature.
This material is typically cast into two moulds, which is sometimes visible as a thin seam down the middle of items.
