DESCRIPTION: This set consists of a multi-size anvil (the metal base) and a choice of two sizes of rivet setters.
The anvil features indentations measuring 5 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm and 15 mm, corresponding to the sizes of double cap rivets it can accommodate.
We currently stock 6 mm and 9 mm rivet setters. The anvil can also be used with rivet setters of the above sizes purchased elsewhere.
Please note: each component of the set (anvil and rivet setter) is sold separately.
USE: This tool set is designed for setting double cap rivets.
- Place the rivet in the correctly sized indentation on the anvil.
- Position the pre-punched leather over the rivet stem
- Place the rivet cap on top and align the metal setter vertically.
- Strike the setter with a maul to secure the rivet.
For the best results, ensure the metal setter remains perfectly vertical during use.
