DESCRIPTION: This beautiful, smooth leather features a very light pull-up effect and a natural oily finish and a finished resinato back.
In line with our sustainable sourcing commitment, we select these hides from premium tannery second choices. While they feature a higher percentage of natural imperfections compared to first-choice leather (such as marks, texture variations, or color inconsistencies), the quality and durability remain unaffected. These unique traits add character to every project.

The stock comes from Italian factories that manufacture premium international brands such as Bottega Veneta, YSL, Gucci, Prada, and more.
All our vegetable tanned leathers come from the certified tanneries of the Tuscan leather district in Italy.

Vegetable tanned leather is also more expensive than chrome tanned leather because vegetable tanning is a time-consuming process, often taking several weeks to complete.
Leather produced through vegetable tanning is firm and can develop a rich patina over time, enhancing its natural beauty and uniqueness. The natural tannins give the leather a range of warm, earthy colors, which can darken and change with use and exposure to light.
This type of leather is commonly used for high-quality products such as luxury belts, wallets, shoes, bags and saddlery, where durability and aesthetic appeal are equally important.
Our vegetable-tanned leathers for sale are sourced from the Tuscan leather district in Italy and come from LWG and/or Genuine Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium certified tanneries.
